Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha also popularly known as Gugu Mbatha-Raw, is known as a British stage and film actor who gained popularity after her role in the "Doctor Who' (a British science-fiction TV show) The show aired on BBC channel. Gugu earned a significant amount of popularity by playing Tish Jones, the sister of the main character, Martha Jones, in the drama. The audience loved her cheerful energy and spontaneity, and there was no turning back for Gugu to have a successful acting career to come! She also has appeared in a variety of different British television and stage shows to the present. The critics have been praising her for her role of "Belle" (2013), which is a period English drama and "Beyond the Lights" the romantic comedy. Also, she appeared in 'Larry Crowne which is a Tom Hanks comedic film, as well TV shows including 'Undercover"' and "Touch'. Gugu Mbatha Raw performed the role of the main character of a mistress and actress in the play by Jessica Swale "Nell Goldwynn" as she was part of the Jessica Swale's play, 'Nell Gwynn,' which was staged in the year 2015. Reviewers praised her acting and nominated her to the Evening Standard Theatre Award. For the great honour of her services to the theatre, Gugu was named a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by Queen Elizabeth II.
Chelsea Joy Handler is a New Jersey native born in Livingston on the 25th February in 1975. She was one of the youngest of six children. The mother of Handler was working as a domestic helper, while her father was a used-car dealer. Her mother is German who emigrated to the United States from Germany in 1958. In 1989 her diagnosis was cancer. She died 10 years afterwards. The father of Handler is Jewish and she was brought up in Reform Judaism. Handler grew up in a safe area and enjoyed a pleasant childhood. She emigrated into Los Angeles when she was aged 19 in order to study acting. Handler started her acting career in order to provide for her. At age 21, Handler decided to pursue stand-up comedy full time, as she was able to discover her storytelling talents. At the beginning of her career Handler began her stand-up career as part of the Oxygen network's all-female cast in an undiscovered camera and a practical joke reality show on TV called Girls Behaving Poorly. It was in air from 2002 to 2005. Handler was then featured on other TV shows such as Weekends at the D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler began her career as a correspondent on The Tonight Show. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006 when she began host her own program on E! It was named the Chelsea Handler Show. It ran for two seasons. The following year, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all broadcasted her stand-up show. It was announced in the year 2010 that she would host MTV's Video Music Awards in 2010. MTV Video Music Awards 2010. In doing so, she was the only female host ever to do so, after Roseanne.
